about Dr. heather Heck
For more than 15 years, I practiced within a multidisciplinary healthcare setting that brought together orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, pain management, family medicine, radiology, and urgent care. This experience gave me a unique perspective on health—one that values both conventional medicine and the many evidence-informed approaches that can complement it.
In addition to my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, I hold Master’s degrees in Public Health and Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College. I am a Certified Clinical Nutrition Specialist (CCNS) through the Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists, a Diplomate of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.), and hold my CACCP certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
My work in clinical nutrition encompasses a wide range of health concerns and individual needs, with an emphasis on personalized nutrition, supplementation, diet and lifestyle strategies, and other holistic approaches. I believe the best approach to health is rarely one-size-fits-all. My goal is to help each person understand the options available to them and make informed decisions that support their individual health and well-being.
